Red Pearl Mission was born out of Jarred Coates' heart for world missions combined with a love for the art of storytelling through film. Our main purpose is to serve men, women, and youth by sharing with them scripture and Biblical values through film. Our message to them is to value themselves as children of God and to walk along-side those who battle from lack of self-worth, shame, guilt, anger or fear while finding acceptance and understanding. Camp Focal Point incorporates these principles by mentoring teenagers while teaching them the basics of film production.

A native of Baton Rouge, Jarred graduated from LSU, MTI, and Full Sail, a film school in Orlando. Jarred started his career as a high school teacher in Bible and World history at a local Christian school.  It was after serving for several years as an Associate Pastor in Memphis, and then Director of City of Faith, a Community Corrections Corporation, that he decided to attend film school. While at Full Sail, Jarred received the Course Director's Award for Film Production, Salutatorian Award, and the Advanced Achievement Award, given by fellow students and professors.

After returning to Baton Rouge, Jarred started Red Entertainment Group, LLC, through which he has worked on numerous films, documentaries, commercial and corporate videos, many of which have won awards, and have been featured in Top 10 Film Festivals. Jarred is also very active in the film industry of the State of Louisiana, serving on the Film Advisory Board of Baton Rouge and the Board of Advisors for The Arts of The Dunham School. Jarred is a partner of Scene Magazine, the state's largest entertainment magazine. He has been a team member on over 40 motion pictures and has been a part of the Producing team on over 20 films, including Beautifully Broken, God's Not Dead, and Camp Cool Kids.
