SPEAKING TOPICS INCLUDE:
Through a short film participants are introduced to the concepts of school cliques and the masks that teens wear to hide their true identities. Students are then encouraged to write down on their own masks, the labels with which they identify themselves-not only what they hide behind but labels they cast on others. In conclusion, participants are invited to leave their masks on the cross of Christ.
Human Trafficking
Showing clips or the entire film of Caged No More, we will discuss the dangers of human trafficking. Based on the true story of one girls journey into a world no child should ever see. This is a relevant message for todays society with protecting yourself while using the internet and being aware of your surroundings at all times. This film was rated PG-13 and was intended for family discussions.
Facing Your Fears
Showing clips or the entire film, we will discuss the challenges that youth face today. Facing your fears, overcoming obstacles and treating each other with respect because we are all children of God.
